With over a hundred works of art woven through its stations, the metro becomes an open gallery that most people pass through without really seeing.
The goal of this project was to highlight that overlooked beauty through a printed cultural publication. Faced with limited space and a massive amount of artwork to showcase, I chose to create an indexed catalogue where each piece can be identified visually — without relying on titles or station names. This made the publication more accessible and intuitive, inviting readers to rediscover the art they’ve seen in passing.
The final result is a soft-touch book that feels more like a personal field guide than a traditional catalogue. You can’t feel the texture through the screen, but its character still comes through: simple, honest, and made for people — not collectors.
