I took part in the Marc Choko poster contest in Montreal — an annual competition that uses design to highlight social issues. This year’s theme focused on the harsh reality of homeownership.
The projects that hit closest to home are often the toughest. I sketched endlessly until I landed on exactly what I wanted to express: a home shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg.
The result is a bold, high-contrast poster inspired by a classic Québécois expression my mom would often say — taken literally and turned into a striking visual.
